ABOUT THE COACH

Hi, I’m Damian, a husband, dad, and the Founder and Head Coach of Fit Fundamentals. I’m passionate about helping people live stronger, healthier lives. I’ve been coaching since 2017, and I graduated with honors from the Fitness Institute International. I also hold the Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. What I’ve learned is that success comes from more than just workouts, it’s about creating sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. As someone who values quality family time, I understand the challenges of balancing health with real life, and I bring that perspective into every coaching relationship.

I’m fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and make them feel understood and supported. My goal is simple: to give you a clear plan, consistent accountability, and the confidence to keep progressing for the long run.

ABOUT THE Dietitian

Hi! I am Karen Varela, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in Florida, Texas, and Oregon. My mission is to empower clients to adopt sustainable lifestyle changes through personalized nutrition and wellness guidance. Originally from Uruguay, I also extend my expertise to Spanish-speaking individuals, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients.

With experience as both a Clinical and Wellness Dietitian, I have developed a versatile approach that addresses various health challenges. I provide evidence-based dietary interventions tailored to support the specific needs of my clients, whether they are managing chronic illnesses, navigating gastrointestinal disorders, or optimizing metabolic health. My goal is to create personalized dietary plans that align with each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that the changes we implement are sustainable and achievable.

As a mother and wife, I understand the barriers that arise when managing stress, maintaining energy, and striving for balance in our busy lives. This empathy drives my commitment to create a nurturing and supportive environment where my clients can thrive.
